Celebration - Patent Motorwagen Cross Canada Tour Stops At Mercedes
Benz Barrie
On January 29, 1886, Karl Benz filed a patent
application in Berlin for this three-wheeled Patent-Motorwagen.
This first car ultimately laid the foundation for all present day
passenger cars, commercial vehicles and buses, and literally
changed the world by revolutionizing transportation.
Mercedes Benz Barrie is please to be able to commemorate the 125
anniversary of the car in 2011 by being apart of the cross Canada
tour. Our colleagues at Driving Unlimited worked timelessly to
bring the 3-wheeler back to life after 125 years of inertia.
The three wheeled Patent-Motorwagen and the first electric smart
car will be in at our dealership on Friday August 5th
and Saturday August 6th. Come and experience the
